Since opening its doors to the public just last month, we have catered wedding and special events at every venue possible, including large banquet halls at hotels and other event centers. We are so excited for this new opportunity and we hope that it will be as exciting for everyone else.But why should you choose our services over others? Well, here are a few reasons.

The Garden Event Center by Zauq is our companies newest venture in the hospitality & culinary industry. With two restaurant locations in the GTA, we have catered for wedding and specials events across the city at a large variety of banquet halls. The Garden Event Center will be built with all of your event hosting needs in mind. From garden weddings to cocktail parties, The Garden has it all! We offer free onsite parking as well as valet service. The Garden will also come with a fully stocked bar where you can enjoy signature cocktails and mocktails while mingling with your guests. That's not all, we are adding a state of the art kitchen that will provide catering services for your event.

Is it best to host your event at a hotel?

No, not always. More and more couples are deciding to get married at home and are then looking for a location to hold the reception. Although this may seem odd or unorthodox to some, I find it to be an amazing way for friends and family who can't make the trek across town (or even across country) a way of joining you on your big day. How do you find the perfect venue?

Finding the perfect venue can be a challenge. It is usually hard to find venues that have both the capacity and style you are looking for. The Garden Event Center by Zauq, at 850 Queensway West, Etobicoke, has all of this and more. With a built-in bar and state-of-the-art sound system, we offer flexible seating options with no extra charges for set up or take down. With our very own kitchen, there is no need for caterers or food trucks on site. All you have to do is send us your menu request and leave the rest up to us.

Should you rent vs buy?

Why rent when you can buy your own banquet hall? Renting might be less expensive, but it lacks versatility and flexibility. Plus, there's a high risk of getting charged more than you bargained for if you decide to cancel your reservation (happens all the time). But what if you need to cancel your event and can't get a refund for all or some of your deposit? And finally, many venues will be on the higher end of cost when renting their space. It may seem more expensive at first to purchase a facility instead of just renting it, but the cost-benefit is definitely worth it in the long-run.
